Auto Assistance Anytime

In recent years school budgets have been drastically cut, placing uneasy burdens on local schools. These cuts have affected many programs such as after school clubs, sports, tutoring and substitute teachers. I found a great way to help.
Auto Assistance Anytime (AAA) is an auto club that provides exceptional car services like towing, battery charges and tire changes but they also do much more. For every member that joins, AAA donates $10 to a local school of your choice. This money can be used by school principals as discretionary funds. There is no better way to cover yourself for unexpected auto emergencies and also help give back to schools.
I plan to switch my current coverage to AAA as soon as my current annual membership expires. It’s a better and faster service, plus I want to be able to donate the funds to our local elementary school.
Anyone can join and the service is available all across the country. If you are interested in starting a fundraiser at your school you can contact them directly at (877) 658 – 7623. Start giving back to schools today with a service that you’re probably already paying for!

I’m always looking for a way to save money. I found this awesome website, LivingSocial.com, that posts a daily deal to local places all around the Raleigh/ Durham area. If you sign-up they will email you with a daily discount that you can purchase directly through the site.
It’s simple and will save you money! You can even share the deal with your friends and if they buy, you can get your deal for FREE!
Do you like ice cream? Well, one day this month they offered a $10 gift card to Cold Stone for only $5….now that’s my kind of deal! It’s free to sign-up and there’s no obligation to buy, you can see the deals until one comes up that you just can’t pass up!
Has anyone heard of Living Social?
Shop Tax-Free at Whole Foods

I am notorious for procrastinating everything in life. I stayed up late last night and finally filed my taxes. Have you done yours yet?
To ease tax pain many business are offering discounts and freebies to consumers this year. Starbucks is giving away free brewed coffee, IHOP a free kids meal and Boston Market is offering BOGO. All these discounts are great but none top what Whole Foods is offering to its customers.
For today only, you can shop at your nearest Whole Foods completely tax-free! They’re picking-up all the sales tax. It may be a good idea to stock-up.
The closest location to Litchford Park is at 3540 Wade Ave.
Hopefully, this discount will ease your tax pain. I plan to do my weekly grocery shopping as soon as I get out of work! Do you plan to go?
Duke Plays in Final Four/ Tarheels Compete in NIT Final

Post season NCAA basketball has been amazing this year. Tons of upsets, exciting matches and a most importantly victories for our Triangle area favorites.
The fact that UNC only made it to the NIT Tournament was sourly disappointing for fans earlier this month. However, after last night’s overtime victory against Rhode Island, you’ve got to be happy that they made it to the final!
The NIT Tournament final will be tomorrow night at 7:00pm and UNC plays Dayton. If the Tar Heels win, this will be the first time ever for a team to follow a NCAA title with a NIT title the next year. It’s amazing what a year can bring.
In the meantime, Duke fans have been celebrating all month. Duke has continued to defend their number one position in the South and will play West Virginia in the Final Four this weekend.
I’m hoping that both teams win to the end. Wouldn’t it be great to have two titles in our area?!
