The NBA playoffs have begun and the Charlotte Bobcats have been eliminated. Now I’m going for the Magic to win. I think it’s better to lose to the champion. I think they’ll do just fine as long as they can stay out of trouble unlike this guy.
Duke Plays in Final Four/ Tarheels Compete in NIT Final

Post season NCAA basketball has been amazing this year. Tons of upsets, exciting matches and a most importantly victories for our Triangle area favorites.
The fact that UNC only made it to the NIT Tournament was sourly disappointing for fans earlier this month. However, after last night’s overtime victory against Rhode Island, you’ve got to be happy that they made it to the final!
The NIT Tournament final will be tomorrow night at 7:00pm and UNC plays Dayton. If the Tar Heels win, this will be the first time ever for a team to follow a NCAA title with a NIT title the next year. It’s amazing what a year can bring.
In the meantime, Duke fans have been celebrating all month. Duke has continued to defend their number one position in the South and will play West Virginia in the Final Four this weekend.
I’m hoping that both teams win to the end. Wouldn’t it be great to have two titles in our area?!
